​We are pleased to announce our official acceptance into the Texas Academy League (TAL), signifying a significant milestone in the academy’s long-term vision to expand elite player development opportunities and establish a pathway toward MLS Next competition in Northwest Houston commencing the 2026-2027 season.
The Texas Academy League is recognized as one of the premier developmental and performance soccer leagues in Texas and serves as a crucial bridge toward MLS Next for top boys programs across the state. Texas Academy League is an independent league for MLS Next clubs in Texas that provides a high-level competitive platform and a professional game day environment for U11-U19 boys.
For Barcelona Soccer Excellence Academy, acceptance into TAL represents the initial major step toward constructing a comprehensive high-performance soccer platform for players in the Northwest Houston region.
This is a momentous occasion for our academy, our players, and our Barcelona community. Today, we embark on our new competitive landscape within our own backyard.

A well deserved spot for the boys to top-off their Spring season coming from a successful Fall 2021 season as District Champions and 3rd in the State  while playing up a year to prepare for their U11 season in the fall 2022 .  Nice work chavales 

A perfect season from Coach Ricardo and the -09 boys.  After last year attempts, where they finished second, this year the boys were determined to bring home the gold.   Great soccer, great team, great parents and great coaching was the formula.  Congratulations!!!

2007 elite boys ended their 2021-2022 season with a  high note at the South Texas State Cup Director's Cup State Finals.  Great season for Coach Gabriel and the boys.  This is the consecutive State Championship for our 2007 elite, last year they managed to bring home the STX Cup.   Congratulations Chavales
